Happy 4 Month Birthday!!

Baby Man is a whopping 4 months old. I seriously can’t believe the changes that have taken place in the last month. Everyday he gets stronger, bigger, smarter, and sweeter.

Probably the biggest thing that has happened since my last update is that Colton started daycare. As many of you know, Marna is taking him Monday-Thursday (the same daycare lady Pete and I went to) and Gramma and Grampa get him on Fridays! He did great transitioning to daycare – it was the Momma Bear that had a hard time with it. In fact, in was probably the worst day of my life. We are doing great now tho! All the boys at daycare LOVE Colton, and Colton is learning so much from the big boys. He came home the other day and started sticking his tounge out, just like his friend Joey!

He really is growing up fast – he grabs toys and his toes, can put bear all his weight on his legs, and still laughs and smiles quite a bit! And is the BIGGEST flirt! He can sit up all by himself too! He still needs to be supported, but he sits in his bumbo, the corner of the sofa, and even the big boy stroller! He hasn't seemed interested in rolling over yet, but man does he love to Army Crawl! His dad has been teaching him for quite sometime, he gets up on his knees and scoots, but his upper body isn't quite ready for the real thing yet.

He is still in mostly 6 month clothes... Not because they fit him really well, but because I have SO MANY cute outfits that he never got to wear... I swear he went from size 3 months to 12 months over night!

He still goes to bed at 7:00pm, and sleeps until 6:30am. This whole month he woke up around 3:30 for a midnight snack, Then suddenly on his 4 month birthday, Poof... He is sleeping through the night, no swaddle, no rocking, no nuk, no midnight snack like he is turning into a big boy over night! and Mr. Binx.... is still sleeping in the basement! Colton is the happiest in the morning. He must get that from his Grampa. And he still passionately hates naptime!

He is amazed at the TV, we only watch it for a little bit before bed and on Sunday afternoons when the Vikings are on! He loves nakey time!! He starts doing his naked dance when I start taking his socks off, almost like he can anticipate whats happening next. He will thrust his hips and move around and dance and smile and squeal!

This Baby Man is the most amazing gift! When he was born he brought me so much happiness and love. Now that he is growing he brings me so much laughter and joy. I am blessed! We love you Baby Man!!

Challenge 4

I decided I needed some “me time” last night, so I took myself out on a date.
I started with a long walk/run on the elliptical while reading Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi/400D Guide to Digital SLR Photography.

Then, a ~~delicious~~ and nutritious meal, 6oz chicken boobies, steamed peas, and a slice of wheat toast.

Followed by 4 straight hours of teaching myself how to use Photoshop Elements. WOWEE!! Motivation has set in and I CANNOT WAIT to share my creations!

Project 52

This will be my first Paparazzi Project.

Other bloggers have done it and I think its a good first project for me. It's structured yet it has a way to encourage creativity. Making photography fun, and provide a challenge without actual pressure.
